Q Viva The Chosen: Is the TV show produced by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, whose objective is to seek Latino musical talent in the Western Hemisphere, was released on January 28 on channel Univision. The chain issued on Saturday a total of 12 episodes of one hour each. In addition to Univision in the U.S., the format will be broadcast by Televisa in Mexico and in Colombia by Caracol. It also can be followed in Central and South America. Lopez and Anthony, his former partner, have been scouring the continent for months looking for singers, dancers, musicians and artists that will be featured in the program. Both have gone to cities and towns in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Paraguay, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Panama, Uruguay, Aruba and the U.S.. "Q'Viva! The Chosen "is recorded in English, Spanish and Portuguese and will be broadcast simultaneously on television channels most important of these 21 countries in the Americas. The mission of Lopez and Anthony is selecting a cast of outstanding artists of all nationalities and a program "to be one of the largest celebrations of Latino culture the world has ever seen," according to a producer XIX Entertainment the same "American Idol."
